While indexing a recent batch of "Obispado de Michoacan" films from the mid 1600's. I ran across the will of Capt. Alonso Rodriguez Martos, who I know is a distant ancestor of many of you. Here's the link to his last will and testament:

... In his will he states that he's originally from Alcantara, Extremadura, Spain and he further states his parents as: Francisco Martinez Gamero and Maria Hernandez Buena.
